I finally managed to watch it. Some very interesting reffing decisions. Good stuff from Bradbury, Brown, Kinghorn as mentioned and particularly Kennedy I thought. Is that a common sort of showing for Kennedy? I've heard about him for some time but that looked like he'd be worth a look for Scotland. Seemed to make very good decisions a lot of the time.
The contrast of the first half to the second is something of a worry, both as a Quins fan and of wanting to see the Scottish guys do well.

Embra may have an issue at prop of Stern Vern decides to go with Dickinson and Dell (probably not) in the match day squads.
Would leave them using he 4th choice loosehead and behind the RG god knows what choice TH - 5th?

Thats more like the Kennedy of a couple of seasons ago before Solomons.

He's been keeping it simpler so far this year and it's looking a lot better. I think that he needs to add something to play internationally through, would like to see him sniping a bit more and working on his box kicking.

Fair enough. Really sounds like Solomons going will breathe some life back in to some of these players.
I cant comment on Kennedy really beyond this game (though there was a nice dart and offload, no?) but I firmly believe we need the guy who can most reliably get the ball to Russell, Dunbar, Seymour, Hogg. Ill accept a lack of goal kicking, spark, defence to be honest, if we can get that.
Sorry - this is not the Scotland thread. It was just great to enjoy watching Edinburgh attack, even against my team.

I flat out refused to go watch Edinburgh play under Solomons, The last 2 games i went to was the Glasgow v Edinburgh derbies and even when Edinburgh was winning I couldnt bear to support them as their rugby was so abhorrent.
Thinking after the move to Myreside I will get a 1/2 season pass as I like watching attacking rugby
My kid is a big Dan Carter fan so will be heading along to the racing game in December if its not sold out

Small mercies I guess. Just feel lucky you didn't have to watch Russell play sort of alright, not great, but not utter shite tonight. I'm not sure I'll ever be the same again.

I think we should just wildly yoyo the cat in and out of flyhalf and fullback, that's worked out really well for us in the past.

Mccallum has done since coming on.
Rambo has come back to bench after what looked a bad head knock in 1st half which is good.

You think you feel bad? Russell is probably tearing himself up with only getting an easy 5 try win. Shocking stuff.
How'd the Zebre game go?
