Wow, I've cleared 400 points. Did not see that coming!

Yeah, that was about as big of a disaster as I thought it would be. You can all thank me for getting Bateman back into form for you though.

That was actually my best week ever. Ha, imagine what I could have done with a full roster and a decent pick at Captain. Also jumped four places in our league, which I think is the most I've ever climbed.
Still, I'll be screwed over next week and/or make some piss poor decisions no doubt, and normal service will resume.

Interesting decisions to make. Thought about adding a bug name to the team but decided against it in the end.
Though I'm still tempted. I'm pretty sure he'd get 20 points more than the guy he replaces...

I sold a bit of dead weight, but looking at my team I'm not sure I actually need to sign anyone. I'm actually pretty pleased with the team I'm putting out (which no doubt means I'll have a terrible, terrible week)

I put out a poor team, but everyone is in the 23s. Sold someone I don't need too. Going to keep the cash in the view of perhaps actually buying an expensive player at some point!

I have a full team out all starters and even my whole bench are starters. That should still see me firmly in the bottom two as usual. I'm just glad our league is ring-fenced and there is no relegation.

Rotation and injuries have left my team looking a bit on the weak side.
I made one injury-enforced sale and put out a reasonable side, but I’m gambling on an extra centre who won’t kick scoring more points (as a false 10) than picking an actual fly half which always messes with my OCD.
Since I was already going to be playing two looseheads and a 12 at 10, I thought I’d go the whole hog and put a 15 at 12 and a winger at 15. If Eddie can do it, so I can I godammit.

I took the plunge and bought another marquee. Hope it pays off as I took a 20 point hit. Means I now need to score 70 more than Puja

Picked Simmonds as my kicker. He really hasn't offered anything. Worse than Bateman!

You see, he was the player I spent 20 points getting rid of!

I still have Simmonds. As someone said earlier in the thread, selling him doesn’t really free up enough cash to buy anyone particularly decent.
At the moment, I have quite a few players out injured that I’m gradually trying to sell off along with a couple of duds. If I have a good game week, I might take a points hit and have a mini cull to get rid of the injured and underperforming.
My first mistake this week was not trusting Dombrandt to start. I picked him last week but he scored poorly whereas this week he got more than double the points Armand did so I’m just hoping Jono Ross has a big performance today to make me feel a little better.
Still pissed off about fuc%ing Bateman!!!

I didn't start Dombrandt either, but ah well. Sacrificed some starters to be able to make a sale and no purchases, so a bit of spare cash for wiggleroom.

A nice 460 odd points so far with two decent scorers to play tomorrow as well. Thanks Reinach for being my captain and Thacker having another stormer.

460 points is a decent total at the end of a week so with a few to play you’re looking good to break 500.
I have sub 400 points at the moment, but 4 starters and 2 subs to play so I’m hopefully of c100 points tomorrow.

Yeah, that did not go to plan...
Need the Sale lads to hail me out of a hole tomorrow

Bloody hell, well done you. With a good run tomorrow I might make 400. Would have been there easily if I hadn't picked this week to bench Luatua, had started Madigan over Simmonds, and kept Mills in the starting line up

It’s the Sale lads I’m banking on too. I have Harrison, Ross and Ben Curry in my starting lineup and Sam James and John on the bench. John had a crap week last week, but they’re normally fairly reliable scorers. Also got Roko on the wing yet to play.
The annoying part is that some great performances by Will Spencer and Reinach have been diluted by Singleton putting in a poor display and Saracens entirely ignoring Lewington on the left wing.

I spoke too soon it’s jumped to 524 overnight. If I hadn’t lost 20 by ditching a player it would have been even better. Now let’s see what bath can do for my 2 remaining starters.

Well done Shiny. Thomas and Mercer should be good for at least 15 points each. If you can break 550, that's a great score.
I ummed and aahed about who to make captain and while Mills wasn't a terrible choice, I wish I'd gone for Reinach!
My score jumped to 406 overnight, but I'm hoping my Sale and Bath players can take me to 500+ (100 points between 6 is doable I think).

Looks like I finished on 543, Mercer not having a good game before going off. Still my best week ever. Normal service will be resumed next round I am sure.

"I need a starting scrum half - shall I sign Harry Randall or Matt Hampson?" "Do I play Olly Thorley at centre and make my brain hurt or play Eastmond?" For once I made the right decisions this week!

This week, I had choices in every starting position without making a transfer. I did bring in one player to ensure a full bench, but I didn't *need* to.
Of course, having choices just means that I will now have made all the wrong ones.
