Decided against a lock on the bench and strengthened the back row instead. Hopeful for my backline

I know what you mean. I'm being far more indecisive about which if Ludlow, Ross, Lewis, Wilson or Chisholm to drop than I am about my Christmas shopping.

My team this week has pretty much picked itself with injuries, players dropped and players on the bench. I only have one bench player starting but have 4 starters on the bench.

I have two choices only. Hoping they pay off...

I get to decide who to release this week, though. No worries about money, just release someone crap at last! Now who will it be?

Bateman, Lamb, Simmons or Morris? I also need a bench hooker, as no-one is bloody playing...so maybe I release one of my hookers? :(

Yeah, I’ve almost got a fully fit squad now and I’ve not been massively hit by rotation.

I’m just hoping I’ve made the right selection calls. I’m tempted to get shot of some of the bigger names in my squad who aren’t really proving their worth.

Already regretting my selection calls ... Adams is another Bateman this season i.e. he was a good points scorer/stalwart for me and is now a single digit waste of a selection.

TBH, I thought Worcester would go well at home against Saints but I read that wrong. Even Mills (who has been a hero for me) let me down this week.

Based upon my formula of 28 points per player for a good week, Reinach is the only one who’s done the business and has basically picked up the shortfall from the others. I really wish I’d made him captain!

Is the scoring going funny for anyone else? It's saying I've got 65 points, but that's not true unless you count my subs as starters.

Try adding 2 for every starter who hasn't played yet... I think.

Mills is my captain, and this was his worst week all season!

He was my captain too. I’m on 309 but I’m going to struggle to break 400pts this week unless Thorley and Woodward have amazing games tomorrow.

Most of my other players are on the bench so I’m pretty pessimistic on my score this week ...

407 points which surprisingly has moved me up all the leaderboards.

Made a few bad calls so ended up on 387pts this week and dropped 17 places overall ...

OK, WLR is the worst value for money... Just terrible points all weeks bar one.

Speaking of terrible scores ... Waller managed to COST me points last night. That’s a new low! Almost makes Bateman look like a world beater.

Aye. I only pick Waller because he consistently gets 15ish points. But -5...damn.

Fortunately I only had him as a sub so it was a -2 rather than a -5 but crap all the same ...

Props were reliable points scorers last season but with a couple of exceptions aren’t quite as reliable this season.

I've had a terrible week. Koch's late withdrawal, picked Robson instead of de Klerk, poor choice of captain. Ugh.

Luckily I picked Reinach as captain again so a lovely 104 points from him. Also Dombrant and Piutau did well. My ace card Naiyaravoro scored exactly zero points and is a lot of money for a winger who rarely gets over 10 points, he could be going soon. Provisional points of 460 which I am happy enough with.

Good performances from Dombrandt (my captain this week) and Reinach have definitely saved me from a crap score this week. To be honest, 400+ feels decent considering I had single digit scores from Lewis Ludlow, Rob du Preez and Alex Lewington and Chris Harris will score me a 0 from the bench. That’s on top of the -2 from Alex Waller on Friday!

Annoyingly, a couple of different selections would have given me another 20-30 points.

Still, my aim for this season was top 50 overall and 10,000 points plus. I’m 49th at the moment (subject to any surprises on the numbers from today’s games) and 3 points shy of 5,000 points at the half way stage so more or less on track.

It’s the RM cup weekend so of course I’m struggling to put a team out with injuries and teams resting players. I have a sub starting and 4 non starters on the subs bench.

In theory I have a team hundreds of places below me. In practice I fear it’s going to be a tough week.

Can anyone remember how the scoring system works? Marcus Smith kicked 5 conversions and a penalty, with a player rating of 7.1 as he conducted his team to a five try thrashing of Newcastle. Despite this, and selecting him as my kicker, he has only scored me 12 points this week. It's a bit confusing.
