Blues Face Super Rugby Axe !!

The crippling SANZAAR crisis over the size and composition of Super Rugby has taken an unexpected twist with news former winners the Blues are set to be axed.
Although the organisation hasn’t made a definitive call the under-performing Blues are believed to have been earmarked to be culled.
SANZAAR was investigating a number of issues and those issues had to be resolved prior to a decision being made to reduce any of the franchises.
Both SANZAAR and the New Zealand Rugby Union are expected to make an announcement “within a couple of weeks” but it is understood a press conference could be staged in Auckland as early as next week.
