Really did not think Clifford would be back so soon. Fantastic. That backrow looks much better now with Chisholm too. Lang is an interesting one. Played wel the last couple of weeks.

Great to see Devoto back. Again weird that Whitten moved aside for him (but not Slade) yet Devoto moves out to accommodate Hill.

It is a more balanced Quins team, isn't it. And Lang has looked ok at 12 recently, wonder if he can do it at a level up.

Sloan on the bench is good, though. I hope he gets gametime and then comes into contention at 12.

You got any idea Saili’s head knock? Must have been a good few weeks ago now. Pretty worrying. Was he massively injury prone at previous clubs do you know?

Yeah. I think I probably would have preferred Sloan at 12 for an away game at Sandy Park, but Lang has played well enough in the AW Cup to deserve a chance in the Premiership.

It's also great to see Clifford and Chisholm back in the side, but in all honesty, I'm not expecting any points here ...

Sandy Park is always a difficult place to go and that Exeter side probably includes a good 8-10 of their regular first choice line-up as well as a very strong bench.

Kingston thinks next week... and updates on everyone else, so it's long.

He's not exceptional by any means, but he's tidy and he straightens. At IC we have a past it Roberts, a converted 10 or Winston Stanley, so he's not got much competition, to be fair...

Ah, ok. In the land of the blind. Fair enough.

Plus he's one of our own. I want to see a full Quins academy XV. It'd be great, and it's not crazy, either...

Marler, Buchanan, Sinckler
Twomey, Merrick
Robshaw, Clifford, Chisholm
Waters?, Smith
Ibitoye, Sloan, Marchant, Chisholm
Brown

Enjoying the fact you’ve left Matthews out of that. Could you make a Prem quality bench? You’ve obviously got Mathews, plus Wallace. It’s a shame about Lowe.
It’ll get Bedford to lend you Jordan Burns, he’s on fire this season. Not literally, obviously.

Not sure Prem quality, as we don't technically have any more 9s...

Piper, Lambert, Collier, Matthews, Wallace, ?, Lang, Aspland-Robinson - not too bad.

Not too bad at all. If your recruitment matched your academy things would be very different.

We do. Niall Saunders (Ireland U20 international) is now back with us.

I’m not certain Lang is an academy product though is he? IIRC we signed him a year or so ago.

when your lineout is struggling, and you are on your own 22, why would you call a throw to the tail?
