Mallinder spending a lot of time at 15 these days. I wonder if that’s where he’ll end up. Could be well suited I suppose

What happened to Humphrey’s and Shillcock?

I'm in favour. He's quick, huge boot, a good runner and his predilection for side tackles rather than stopped scary people head on is best accomodated at 15. Plus it's his favoured position.

Both injured. Shame - I'm a big fan of Shillcock.

Quite possibly. They've got Schonert and Hougard back which will give them a big boost. Saints a bit flakey so a home win isnt out of the question.

Jono Lance also looks like a good acquisition who can really get their backline working more effectively with Hougaard.

I'm surprised to see Hammond on the bench though. He's looked very effective on the wing recently.

I have Wuss down for a win on Superbru but then again so does Healey.

I'm surprised and happy to see Moon on the bench. He's a big lad who I think is ready to step up to first team rugby. Also extremely glad Horne is fit again, as he has been key in all our good performances so far this season.

Premature perhaps, but called it.

Didn't see it, but the situation at Saints is getting ridiculous. It's quite impressive really how the coaching set up gets so little out of a group of individually talented players. I think the time has really come now to get rid of Jim and Dorian. We were incredibly stupid to knock Ackerman back when he wanted to take head coach.

Not surprised by the result. Saints have fallen off a cliff formwise after a decent spell earlier in the season. They are performing well below the sum of their parts. A change at the top seems on the cards.

For all Saints woes it should be noted that this was a fine win for Wuss and is just what their season needed. They've been playing well over the last month or so, not always winning but scoring plenty of tries and looking truly competitive. This win has been coming for a while.
Apparently Will Spencer was outstanding yesterday.

So was Piers Francis performances in super touch just a flash in the pan or is he being treated poorly by saints?

He's not had much of a run since joining to be honest, injured in pre season then got injured again after a few appearances. He's not done much outstanding so far, but equally hasn't been poor. I'm hopeful that a run of games starting at 10 will see him start to deliver - although playing behind this Saints pack at the moment I'm not sure what can be done!
