Good to see Malins at 10.
Kvesic finally getting a start will please Digby.

Look who’s in the 19 shirt for Sarries.

Diggers ain’t happy unless Kvesic is captaining England.

I half expect Farrell to appear on the bench on Sunday morning.

I enjoy watching Exeter, and Kvesic, but what I really want is for England to pick a balanced back row that can support different modes of play

Diggers, did you see Kvesic’s offload? Test quality.

This Sarries d is quality. Exeter aren’t really doing much other than running straight at them but there hasn’t been a single bust of note or any hint of them giving away a pen.

Sarries a little clumsily keep on bringing Chiefs back into it

Spencer shepherd's crook, despite playing pretty well. feel for him a bit.

I thought he looked really useful. Surely, he has to move club. How old is Wigglesworth?

His kicking was miles better than Wiggys to date

Tompkins blows it, but in truth that was poor from Sarries, especially their bench.

Not a classic - far too much kicking for me - but that was a good comeback from Exeter who didnt really show up in the 1st half. Thought their back row got on top in the 2nd half.
Beats me why Spencer was taken off. He was playing well and looking sharp.

Sadly I've been busy getting the house ready for guests at Christmas. Obviously left to my own wishes I'd have neither guests nor Christmas, though there is it's an excuse for a snowball or three. Guest bedrooms now ready, and all the usual paraphernalia is down from the loft, so I'm left feeling virtuous but also cross at not having simply watched the rugby with a scotch
What I don't understand more than leaving out Kvesic is when Eddie was happy to pick Tom Curry why he wasn't happy to look at Ben Curry, partly if one wanted a like for like then Ben's where you'd look, and partly if anything Ben looks the better player
For some comment even vaguely related to the actual thread then Exeter now look very stronly placed for a home semi-final

Light the fire, dim the lights, pour yourself a glass of red, put Hot Chocolate You Sexy Thing on the stereo and fast forward the highlights to the 23rd minute. You’ve earned a bit of you and Kvesic alone time.
