Off to a good start in the hive of human slavery that is Dubai, Darcy Graham sitting down to put us 5-0 up v France.
Can’t see us being stopped, if I’m honest.

France score under the posts and we trail 7-5.
Can’t see where we go from here, if I’m honest.

Ross McCann! 26-14 full time. Some silly mistakes from both teams but we were worth the win. Not sure if it was due to perspiration on the ball.
And I must add that it’s great to see World Rugby take the game round the world, even if it means getting their hands and snouts dirty from time to time. FIFA did it next door, so why wouldn’t anyone follow their example?
Hopefully the lads can have a few beers tonight and avoid touching someone’s hip in a bar, lest they end up ....

That’s an awfully high horse I rode to work this morning.
Anyway, good start for the lads. Beat Spain and we’re almost certainly in the big cup.

Right - we’re off against Spain. Kicked the ball away, Darcy Graham couldn’t chase (looks injured) and we were effectively down to 6. Spain scored - 7-0 to them.

Remarkable recovery from DG - try in the corner. Still doesn’t look 100%. 7-5.

Good try Spain. Not sure if his name, but fin. I had to guess it would be Señor S. Gonzales.
HT 14-5 España.

FT. It’s a win. Take that, Rajoy’s boys.
England next around half four when I will be on a train. Bugger.

I watched England-France. England weren't that good but I got the feeling they can much better than they did.

Just seen the result. 0-29. No biggie. We clearly weren’t bothered coz if we played well, we’d pure smash that mob.
Into the next round v Fiji or NZ, I think. Beaten them both last year, so can do so again.

Lost to Fiji.
We made a few mistakes out wide and didn't really handle the restarts.

0-14 v Argentina so far in Cape Town. Still first half but have forgotten how to tackle/ our fringe defence, such as it is in 7s.

7-12. Jack Cuthbert playing well. Try Bryce. Think they’ve worked out that they can’t just “give it tae Darcy”!

Great try. Cuthbert - Blake - back of the hand - Farndale try. Length of the pitch job under the posts. 14-12.
