Haven't checked the up coming fixtures, but not sure if this is the one to rest Haskell, and bench Johnson and Robson.

Looks pretty even on paper, wasps to nick it with home advantage, though I'm hoping for at least a lbp, and maybe even 2 points, we are scoring relatively freely and we may get some change out of eastmond with our larger centres. Glos back row has the edge I reckon. First game this season all of our backs are available for selection too.

He's only 'just' not injured, available for selection, but Suspect he's not being rushed back.....

Haskell and Robson's replacements are more than handy though; it's on the cusp of it being a selection choice. Plus Johnson's a talisman, but he's not a brilliant hooker as of yet.

I'm fine with Cruse, he's similar to Taylor in that he runs nice lines and has very soft hands, but his darts can be iffier than Johnsons. Simpson is nowhere near Robson at the moment unfortunately, and I fear he'll kill our speed in attack. Haskell isn't a huge loss, but he's been doing better and better recently, still excited to see Willis though.

12t is hardly a ferocious specimen tho. But he has a ginormous kick so that's that

Interesting game. Just how far have Gloucester come this season? Big test for them against a side that is rediscovering their attacking flair.

I think there are some subtle elements of the other players are bigger which are escaping you, it's a refined school of thinking here in Blighty

Far as I know he's fit, but similar to Woodward he's only just there. Not a bad impact sub.... maybe he comes on with 30 mins to go and runs rings around a midfield that has been attritional for 50 mins.
The more I see of Glos this year the more I am believing that Ackerman really does have a master plan.

I'd point out that it's only since a South African has come in, that Glaws have gone truly insane with regards to their size.

Wasps fairly devastating in the second half!

They were ok, glos gifted them 21 points through sheer ineptitude though, 36 had a couple of typical brain farts.

I'm wildly biased but Robson & Cips look like such a more threatening unit than Youngs & Ford.

Robson did, cipriani was a liability most of that match.

Caught the highlights and it looked like Glos were well in it during the 1st half but did make a gift of points. Wasps are exactly the team you dont want to hand openings to.
Glos are a work in progress but the trajectory is definitely upwards.

Frankly, I want to know which television executive looked at this game and went, "Psch, no! This is for a festive audience; Worcester vs Irish, Saints vs Exeter and Leicester vs Saracens are much more likely to provide exciting to-and-fro games where there's lots of tries."
