£60k as just about everybody knew it would be.
No mention of future increases, no remorse by the club, but a double-down on their "we want it changed, and thought it would have been by now" excuse.
I blame PRL rather than Bath for the lack of remorse (contract with clause costs X+£20k p.a., contract without clause costs X+£100k p.a.), but I don't like the excuse, just a straight Mea culpa "Yep, we did this, we knew we shouldn't, this fine is the price we have to pay to secure Faletau's services".
I also blame PRL for the lack of any increase built information future occasions. A simple!e addition of "next time any club does this, the fine will count as a payment made in leiu of a similar increase in salary, and is thus counted within the salary cap"
