Anthony Allen, Richard Blaze and James Pontonhave joined the U20 set up as part of the coach development programme agreement signed between the RFU and Premiership Rugby.

Out of interest, how is Blaze being developed as a coach for Premiership Rugby? He's currently not employed!

No Will Porter is a bit of a surprise, anyone know if he's injured?

He is.
coaching at Tigers and loughborough students still. (Sounds like the comments about it being more personal reason where true).

From Tigers POV great to top the amount with Worcs, very happy for Hardwick (30 from 31 kicks in the A league and AWC) and Olowofela is has amazing talent IMO.

Wonder when was the last time tigers had 5 players in the squad? The academy changes with Allen and Deacon in charge is starting to pay off it seems.

Yes, he got carried off in an A league game. Think it wasn’t an awful injury, but out for a little while.

Harsh on Irish, they're not even down yet and still being overlooked. (Cheers for the update on Blaze)

I count Irish as a bath/Irish program so split the amount......

Saying that isn't Bath the only prem team without a player in it? or am i missing someone?

Oh that's good. Seems like a nice chap, so good to hear he's doing okay for himself.

Very pleased as well to have 5 players in. I reckon the last time we had that many would've been 6-7 years ago and some of those would only had been selected on the club's reputation. I don't know much about our forwards, but I think all three of our backs representatives will make Premiership level.

I remember hearing Heyes and Hardwick being two (at the time) U18's that the club rated very highly. Think he's still only 18 so has plenty of time to develop.

Props - Heyes, Street, Morris, Trinder, Seville
Hookers - Walker, Oghre, Cutting
Locks - Hill, Scott, Lewis
BR - Earl , Curry, Moore, Willis, Lamb, Basham
SH - Brand, Snow, White
FH - Grayson, Hardwick
Centre - Dingwall, Williams, Butler, Olowofela
Back 3 - Crossdale, Parton, Seabrook, Chapman, Loader. Ibitoye

I think these are the right positions, though some can play lock/BR or centre/wing.

As ever, this squad is full of very exciting young talent. Nice blend of players from last season, along with some from the u18's and one or two that are new to me (Trinder, Snow and Chapman?)
Surprised B Curry is included and that there's no Randall or Redpath (opting for Scotland perhaps?)

Olowofela is more of a back 3 player but he does play 13.

Randall is no longer eligible I believe, too old. Redpath has only just turned 18, so may be considered too young. No Umaga though, which is a surprise.

Snow is considered to be the star of Exeter's young 9s and is very highly rated indeed. Doesn't seem fair for them to have all those scrum-halves.

I'm not surprised at Umaga - he doesn't have the talent to match the surname and hype and I'm not sure I see him making it as a Premiership player, let alone international.

Snow is bloody good, he has competition behind him at Exeter in the 9 department though with the younger Maunder and Tait coming through who are pretty bloody good. Hardest position at Chiefs to break in with Pellows obsession with 9s being an ex 9 himself.

Umaga seems to have been going fairly well in the A-league. I wonder if Wasps have perhaps asked to keep him, due to our current flyhalf/centre situation.

If Eastgate is in the Scotland U20s squad then I can imagine Wasps have asked to keep hold of Umaga.

Are we to read any thing into Sam Moore being announced in this squad (I think the welsh were very interested in fast tracking him to their senior squad)? I haven't seen him play but he is obviously highly rated.

Moore's dad is a former Welsh international, as is his uncle. Another Moriarity scenario developing?
