Nothing in it now for Wasps but could still be a very entertaining game.

Wasps: Le Roux; Wade, De Jongh, Eastmond, Watson; Cipriani, Robson; McIntyre, Cruse, Cooper-Woolley; Launchbury (capt), Gaskell; Willis, Thompson, Carr.

Replacements: Johnson, Harris, Moore, Myall, Young, Simpson, Miller, Macken.

Ulster: Piutau; Ludik, Cave, McCloskey, Stockdale; Lealiifano, Cooney; McCall, Best (capt), Ah You; O'Connor, Treadwell; Henderson, Reidy, Timoney.

Replacements: Herring, Warwick, Herbst, Rea, Henry, Shanahan, McPhillips, Lyttle.

Why nothing in it? Still a couple of ways for them to qualify. They need to win with 4 tries, and prevent Ulster getting anything though. Then it either needs Quins magically beating La Roch (and giving them nothing), or Leicester beating Racing (not impossible).

Is Bassett now persona non grata or injured?

Yes but they also at times look like they're trying to get a try of each phase, they might want to calm down a little and join up some of their efforts

Not an invalid thought given they are currently getting smashed on the carry :)

that my friends, is why Wade won't get picked by Jones, sadly

lunacy from him, compounding poor thinking from Le Roux

They've had chances to kick deep and have Ulster play out under pressure, and they've not looked to take them which in the conditions today is odd. Also Ulster would react to losing at some point which will perhaps create more open play that Wasps can then score tries in, nothing wrong for the first 40 simply building a 9-0 lead or similar given the snow and rain

That's twice now they've given Watson stick for Le Roux's errors. Terrible pass twice.

WLR makes too many simple errors.

The pass to Watson was just poor, no forcing things involved there. I think he’s made too many errors whilst at Wasps - I’m not commenting based solely on this match. Even if he is forcing it, part of being a great player is to know when to try and when not too. WLR seems not to.

I agree, he's been a fckin good player trying to force things all season :)
