It was merely an “accident”
surprised they didn’t have the pocket to cover it up really, unlike a certain 2 other clubs.

The overrun tax in action. Upto 5% over base cap is "allowed". The tax amount gets pretty steep after 50k.

I'm sure they'll be as understanding as they were when Bath supposedly breached in a similar manner.

When bath and sarries didn't break it or else lawyers, a new overrun tax was introduced.

That still sounds very similar.
Besides, IIRC the over-run tax was already in place, just less codified; it was certainly talked about a lot at the time.

Nope. Overrun tax and extra cap for international appearances were introduced after the non breaking of the previous agreement.
