Well in the absence of any Leinster fans on here anymore, I suppose it'll have to be down to me to accept with grace these kind plaudits for a cracking servant of his club, province and country. I wouldn't have been his most vocal admirer in more recent seasons, but you'd have to say that 95 caps is some record. It is a shame injury has brought his career to an end but suspect that he wouldn't have made it to the World Cup even if his back hadn't given out last March.

good decision by Jamie - now he just has to persuade his mate R. Kearney to do the same.
