Hi all,
I'm in the process of making plans to tie up all loose ends down south and move up to the Cairngorms (or somewhere in the highlands) in the next year or possibly two.
I won't bore you with details about the move but my question to the community is how do I go about finding a club?
I'm not entirely convinced that the SRU club finder is entirely up to date or accurate. I know that the North of Scotland is sparsely populated with few big hubs & there's the dominance of Shinty as well... but it still looks pretty low volume.

I was also under the impression that Strathspey RFC hadn't played a competitive fixture in years which is also why I ask about the accuracy of the tool. Is this the best available?
Cheers for any help in advance.

Re: Club finder resources
The tool is accurate so far as I am aware. There are member clubs who won't play in the leagues.
What I would do is cross check the club with the league tables and Twitter etc. There should also be contact details.
We've played Highland RFC a few times over the years they are a good bunch of lads.
P.s Caley is the best region

Yeah, the SRU website has all the league tables so you can see which clubs play where. Once you have a location, we should be able to help too
