Terribly sad news that a true musical icon has passed away.
Aretha is my favourite all time artist. Her music transcended Soul, where she was indisputably the Queen. She was simply one of the greatest artists ever to be committed to tape. She will not be replaced and her legacy is some of the greatest music recorded in the last 60 years.
