Thats a lot of unavailable players after only one league game.

Clifford's ongoing issues are quite a concern. When was the last time he played, and when is he likely to be fit?

The game itself should be a good one. Saints will bounce back after last week and playing at home, while Quins are still putting out a pretty decent starting XV despite the injuries.

Played a bit last season - without wanting to be harsh, I'm yet to see how he is Premiership standard. Would be nice to see Kunatani get involved soon

I’m in agreement with Bloggs. White doesn’t look like a Premiership player to me (and definitely not a starter).

Very pleased to see Chisholm back in the mix though.

Well he's either made a good impression or Bothma isn't really fit.

I’d assume Robshaw and White are playing left and right rather than open and blind.

I don’t mind Glynn as a lock but I’d be perfectly happy to never see him at 6 ever again.

Glynn is perfectly fine as 6th choice lock...but he's nowhere near top 6 quality. Saracens' 6th choice is Dom Day, ffs. There's daylight between those two and Day hardly ever plays!

You're misunderstanding him - he's saying Bothma's not 100% in relation to White being selected, not Chisholm.

As it happens, I’m a big fan of Chisholm. He’d be in my first choice back row with Robshaw and Clifford (ahead of Bothma). It’s White I don’t rate.

Indeed. Little Chis is quality. But perhaps in the first choice he'd be at 6...Although I think he does just as good a job at 6 and 8 at club level.

Tricky one as we don’t have an obvious first choice back row.

IMO, 6. Robshaw 7. Clifford 8. Chisholm is our best/most balanced combination, but I’d probably tweak it slightly to have Clifford at 8 on attacking scrums.

The obvious problem with that is that Clifford is almost always injured. Unless he can string together a decent run of games this season, I can seriously see him having to call it a day. Hopefully that doesn’t happen, he proves he’s over the injuries and he achieves his potential. I think people have forgotten what a good player he is.

Looking forward to this. Particularly to see how Brussow goes. Penalties aside, I think last week he finally started to show his quality, was an absolute nuisance at the breakdown and fired up all game. Disappointed not to see Naiyaravoro involved but he hasn't been at the club long and is obviously not up to speed yet. Also disappointed to see Burrell retained, as always.

The quins back line looks quite dangerous and certainly has more pace across it than Saints.

I know we bemoan the primacy of the gym monkey on here but White really could do with shifting some plates.

Yep. White is a bit of a liability - he looks heavy but not in a good way. Not quick, not especially strong and doesn’t even work that hard. If you watch a reply of Tuala’s break about 35mins in, he’s the guy ambling back with no urgency or desire. Looks like he’s played 80 mins in a fraction of that time.
