Anyone who enjoys the books was never happy with Tom Cruise. The snag, now, is whether comparison with Mr Dallaglio helps. Restricting comparisons purely to appearance may just work. Reacher is very intelligent and each time Dallaglio offers an opinion on BT Sport will I be able to ignore the tendency to take the comparison further and cringe?
