Exe dont lose many at home. They've got a few internationals back and i think they will be too strong. They really need a try BP, which is no given.

Agreed - Exe will win this.
More of an even match at Kingsholm, but two tasty sides there - still impressed by the Glos bench.

This is on channel 4 by the way. Who ever in charge of buying their rugby matches really has their head screwed on. It was amazing they got the ire vs nz game.

Thorley the form England winger? Love to see a flanker with the grubber kick but that's probably why it's not a good idea.

Flatman fancies Slade even more than I do.
Thorley again making breaks that he shoudln't be allowed to.

not sure Glos can tackle like this for a full 80 without leaking a few more.

Is Woodburn dressed up as Prince for any particular reason?

Probably is, great feet and initial acceleration - but he didn't have the top end gas to outsprint Cuthbert, who is still surprisingly quick.switchskier wrote:Thorley the form England winger? Love to see a flanker with the grubber kick but that's probably why it's not a good idea.

Thorley had a lot of pace taken out of him when he burst through 2 tacklers, Cuthbert was already at full tilt then.Spiffy wrote:Probably is, great feet and initial acceleration - but he didn't have the top end gas to outsprint Cuthbert, who is still surprisingly quick.switchskier wrote:Thorley the form England winger? Exeter struggle when teams match them, it's my big worry about the calls for Baxter to be England coach.

I didn't.
Glad it did come though, beat Exe at their own game - best managed game of Rugby i've seen from Glos for a long time.

Surprised me. Exe not quite at the races but credit Glos for a full on 80 minute effort. They were worthy winners and cannot be discounted from going further.
Thorley enhanced his growing reputation but the real work was done up front in denying Exe the kind of platform they usually enjoy.
