Can't help but feel like we were robbed with the 0-28 we were given for the cancelled match in Romania

QF Draw:
La Rochelle v Bristol Bears
Clermont-Auvergne v Northampton
Worcester v Harlequins
Sale v Connacht

(last weekend in Mar.)
Probably 2 each from Fra & Eng... 5 here from GP reflects the quantity over quality current position perhaps.
I hope none of the clubs have to compromise on this competition due to relegation fears.

Hoping home QF can help Worcester here… Would be great to get through to SF… (or even Finals)

Poor old Northampton. Clermont three times in one season!

We pushed them close with a few injuries the other week! Let's hope we have a similar game with a different result in the QF

Connacht have re-found their mojo and certainly have it in them to pick up an away win. The rest probably depend on what is happening in their domestic leagues.

I have to say it's a crying shame these games aren't on tv. Why on earth couldn't they ahve at least a couple of games on free to air.

I heard that now it’s the knock out stages they will be shown on BT.

Looking forwards to the Clermont-Saints game on sunday. Hopefully it’ll be similar to the group game from earlier in the season, was genuinely one of the best games I’ve ever seen

Bristol team for La Rochelle:

5. Piers O’Conor; 14. Luke Morahan, 13. Siale Piutau (co-capt), 12. Tusi Pisi, 11. Tom Pincus; 10. Ian Madigan, 9. Andy Uren; 1. Yann Thomas, 2. Harry Thacker, 3. Lewis Thiede, 4. Aly Muldowney, 5. Chris Vui, 6. Steve Luatua (co-capt), 7. Dan Thomas, 8. Nick Haining.

Replacements: 16. Nick Fenton-Wells, 17. James Lay, 18. Jake Armstrong, 19. Ed Holmes, 20. George Smith, 21. Harry Randall, 22. Callum Sheedy, 23. Luke Daniels.

Strong side from us, but they'll be looking to get one back for beating them there in the stages.

I have to say, I’m a bit surprised by Worcester’s lineup. I thought they might rest more players for the relegation scrap.

Sale on top first half but things could change.

That may actually be the worst refereeing performance I have ever seen. Just consistent bizarre decisions with probably more wrongly given than correctly. Culminating in him stopping the game for a really nasty Connacht injury to be treated and started to be taken off, only for the ref to restart it while he's still being led slowly off by the physios, resulting in the game having to stop again when the play comes near him.

Sale nearly threw away that game in the second half. TCurry going off was the turning point - he'd looked very impressive in the first 50 and his brother had an absolute mare when he came on.

Did anyone else see Solomona standing at the side of the big scuffle near the end and spamming the Connacht lock on the back of the head while he was in a clinch with Ross to try and get him to flip? Nothing, but class. Sale do make it awfully hard to like them sometimes.

Was Ben for Tom a tactical swap? I’m hoping Tom is not injured ...

He looked uncomfortable as he went off, but not overtly injured. I'm hoping it was just bumps and bruises and they decided to give him a rest as they were well in the lead.

Great try from Murley. No right to score that but great to see the sheer determination to get over the line.

Pace, strength and skill. Great wing play. Him and thorley could be the future.

The last few weeks have seen Marcus Smith really step up, I feel. He just looks so good in attack.

On Murley's try, it was great, but jeez, those missed tackles.

God, I can't wait to be rid of some of these players... Luamanu and Alofa are both pretty terrible...
