Half-time Huddle

The half-time interval is 10 minutes.
If it takes 2 minutes to get into or out of the changing room, that's just 6 minutes for the head coach to get his message(s) across to his team, discuss tactics and fire his team up.
SCW stated that the purpose of Eng's huddle is to allow the captain to 'have his say first..'
If that was agreed by EJ wouldn't he just stay out the way for a few minutes ?
If the team are doing it for privacy, is this a mini-split ?
Humans have pack mentality - there can only be 1 leader of the group and 1 captain on the pitch.
If the 2nd half performances had improved, you might say 'genius'
If no change you might say 'it must be keeping them bonded and focussed'
Given what we have seen in recent matches where the team has either lost focus or stopped playing with any intensity in the 2nd. half you might say 'wtf?'
As someone with near zippo knowledge of top-level sports team psychology or close-quarter dynamics, anyone got any idea ?
It's a bit of froth I know, but just seems odd.
