EJ praised his 'finishers' yesterday so maybe Spencer is
now properly in the mix for Youngs back-up..

I liked the bit where someone asked about George Ford playing well and he did his very best to praise everyone else for giving him such an armchair ride. It was weird. He’s genuinely concerned Farrell is going to be shown up.

Yeah I noticed that. It's so depressing.

Farrell is his choice, both as a 10 and as the captain. He isnt going to alter course.

Which finishers went well? The half backs were an improvement but that was a pathetically low bar to clear, after that it didn't seem the bench added much

I didn't watch Galfon's above link but I recognised Mikey's ref from a Youtube interview after the game where EJ was sat next to Farrell post match and made the comments Mikey's referring to. Don't have the link for it soz.

Owen looks like a sulking 12 year old. I'd guess uncle Eddie has given him a bit of a bollocking too. Eddie doesn't even want to look at him when he's talking.

Very qualified praise for Ford, barely praise at all, more that everyone did it for him.
