Re: Sale vs Quins
I’m nervous about this one. We just about scraped past Worcester in the Challenge Cup last weekend, but our last two Premiership games have been poor.
We’ve had some decent wins on the road this season against teams around us (Gloucester and Bath spring to mind), but those feel like they were quite a while ago.

We do seem to be particularly shit against Worcester in general though.

Re: Sale vs Quins
Sale pretty tough at home and Quins Prem form has dipped a bit (and they were very lucky to win last week too) Important game for Sale as they seek to solidify 6th place.

I’m not sure if we were lucky. I’d be first to admit we didn’t create much but our defence was good and we punished Worcester’s mistakes.

Injuries biting Quins...
Losing Marler, Elia, Collier, little Chis, Ibitoye and Marchant together is a bummer.

Yeah. Effectively a quarter of our first choice 23.
At least Crumpton is back. Hopefully, we can keep Ward on the bench for as long as possible.

He was out for the first chunk of the season injured, but he's been fairly regular in and around the XXIII the second half so far. I think Sale are actually doing a pretty good job introducing, while patiently looking after their young talent.Banquo wrote:has redpath been featuring for Sale's senior team this season much before?

Yep. We might come to regret not scoring that.
All things considered, I’m very happy with our start. We look up for it.

We’re actually playing fairly well but Sinckler is having one of those games where he’s mainly a liability ...

Re: Sale vs Quins
Sale have done literally nothing for their 19 points. We’ve literally gifted them 16 of them with Barnes giving them a free 3 points from an offside that never was ...
I maintain that we’ve played fairly well but Sinckler in particular has cost us points through pure stupidity.

Love him or loathe him, Solomona’s strike rate is ridiculous. Even more so in a very average team.

It seems like modern test rugby is all about defensive wingers that can hussle.Mellsblue wrote:Love him or loathe him, Solomona’s strike rate is ridiculous. Even more so in a very average team.

Love him loathe him, Webber’s body shape is ridiculous. Even more so as he’s a professional rugby player.
