Good to see Duke on the bench for Saints. Don’t think there will be a lot between these two, think I’d be happy with 2 points out of this game.

Should be a good one. I'm really enjoying the way Saints are playing at the moment, and Glos are always good to watch.

What’s the deal with Mallinder?

He's been injured all season and is rehabbing it at the moment. Not expected back this season.

What’s that, a hat trick? From England’s next 12!

Clear forward pass from Cips before Balmains break

If Naiyaravoro got a yellow for a high tackle on a break, then why has Heinz got away with that?

That might be the end of Brussow. He's had a lot of issues with concussion this season and that might be 1 too many.

Very poor refereeing not to stop play when it goes near Burrell down with a head injury, and as a result the medical team get clobbered

Yep. Dumb. Is it just me or are we seeing a trend of the attacking running towards those incidents knowing it provides a bit of cover? I've seen a couple in the last few weeks where play has clearly been brought towards an injured player.

Yep, same as you I've noticed this a few times this season. It's so easy for it to be avoided by the ref blowing up when play gets too close to the injured player.

Another bollocks call, definitely made contact and a deliberate knock on

Too attritional that game. Not good for the coming weeks.

Braley definitely touched that ball.

Cips pass wasn’t forwards, to be fair he cut saints apart whenever he got opportunity.

If Glos had Reinach instead of Heinz, they'd be a serious force...

I really dont understand the consistency in regards to the Brussouw incident. It was a direct shoulder to the head with mitigating circumstances of the ball carrier ducking into the tackle, surely that is at least a yellow card? Im not saying it should be in my opinion but the fact that some of these seat belts get yellows and that doesn't is a bit silly

That would be just epic.

Agree on the shoulder/head thing, it’s still too much of a grey area, needs some clarity that I’m not sure our governing bodies can provide

Entertaining game - just like watching Southern Hemisphere, No-Tackle, Super Rugby.
Some likely lads on show.
Poor old Banahan really is a carthorse now - any average wing would have been in for the try with that intercept.

Entertaining, but Saints defence was shocking.

It was fun to watch with lots of good attacking play. Defensively neither side will be happy.
Big win for Glos, who played well in both the tight and the wide areas. They adjusted well to injury disruption. Their back 3 resources look to be severely stretched.
Atkinson rightly MotM. He does a lot of things really well and is a great foil for Cips.

Atkinson going past Naiyaravoro for that try was just comical.
