The Wallabies? Lealiifano will probably take the short-range ones, Hodge will take the long-range ones.

Is the 10/15 combo just an experiment for the AB's, or do you expect it to stick?

Is Crotty crocked, ditto Bernard Foley?

What's the prognosis on Retallick- key player for RWC imo, assuming fit and not rusty.

O'Connor's career continues to be bizarre.

Not sure how long the Mo'unga-Barrett 10/15 system will stick, but Mo'unga does need the game time at the test level.

Crotty and Foley are fine.

Retallick is likely to be available for the World Cup.

So we’ve got an 8 at 6, a 10 at 15 and a 15 at 14.

Not to mention no available 3rd choice 10 with test experience.

I guess 8 years is enough.

I like the look of that AB side. I thought ALB looked fairly lively when he subbed on against the Boks.

I think we need to get Ardie starting, given the form he's been in. Read's not going to be dropped, and Cane's a much better 7 than any of the contenders for 6 are for that jersey, so it seems reasonable to give Ardie a starting run at blindside.

Is this like "What? Jeremy Thrush an All Black? That's the tournament lost!" again? Give it a fucking rest, dude.

Secondly, Ardie is an openside. He only initially started playing 8 because Gareth Evans had taken the 7 jersey off of him, and there was a spate of injuries that opened up the back of the scrum.

And what, Barrett's suddenly a 10, permanently wed to the position? It's clear that it's part of a double playmaker situation, with Beaudy being placed where he has plenty of experience.

And speaking of which, it's also clear that while Ben Smith is in at 14, he'll likely be fullbacking a fair bit. Didn't you want a backline full of fullbacks 4 years ago? Where's the consistency?

Thanks! How come Crotty hasn't played this year- for me, he's pretty important to NZ (I know that's not fashionable) and would help Mo'unga settle in.

I'd like to make a pre game pro Michael Hooper statement - doesn't deserve half the stick he gets here

Reed took Hooper out of it

Was totally off his feet when given a penalty earlier on

Agree on the second, not on the first.

For the first NZ try?

Both TMO and referee and aussie commentators agreed it was shoulder to shoulder competition to get to the ball. It MIGHT have been given the other way but it certainly wasn't beyond the bounds of reasonable decisions.

Howlingly bad set of decisions, in at the side, forward pass, plus missing the head slap. What's the assistant doing, he's looking straight at 2 clear penalties and a massive forward pass and said nothing.

Bloody hell, you never actually expect to see ABs get the harsher end of decsions.

I can't see how that's harsh. It's a shoulder charge with force, which is a yellow even before it's contact direct to the head. You could argue that he's unlucky that he's hit the head, but you could also argue that that's his own problem for throwing his shoulder into a challenge.

Massive opportunity for Australia here. If they can't win from this position, they may as well stop playing New Zealand.

Is that what a red card is these days? Pretty tough. Only the fourth AB red card in history. Probably not in the top 4 bad AB tackles in history.
