Post who think will win each game to win fame, fortune and riches.

You don’t have to do them all at once, just get in before KO.

I’ll start:

Japan to beat Russia
Aust to beat Fiji (hope I’m wrong)
Arg over France
NZ over SA

If games lasted 60 minutes I'd look competent here.

So, after (barring 20 mins of Wales) seeing everyone, has anyone changed their minds on who will be winning, making finals etc?

For me, England slightly backwards and the likely 1/4 final of SA v Ireland could be a beaut. I should say the England are still a goodish shout for a good tournament as the defence will keep them close. Can they learn to catch though?

What about Samoa, Canada, USA, and Uruguay?! ;-)

But, in seriousness,
England played worse than I thought they would, but unlike Scotland, I don't think the issues will stop us taking the step up

I think that final 8 will be as everyone thought… and the critical games will be
SA — Ireland, and
England — Group D runner up

So earlier I predicted the following on the early prediction thread:

Ireland, NZ, England and Wales win their pools, France missing out in the pool of death.

Aus upset England in the quarter, NZ beat Scotland, Wales beat Argentina, South Africa roll Ireland.

NZ beat Aus in the semi, Wales beat SA.

NZ to beat Wales in the final.

Looking like France will progress, who knows what they could do, but sticking with NZ versus Wales final with NZ to win.

Well. First upset of the RWC with Uruguay beating Fiji. Quite the result and not one anyone predicted.

That's my 100% prediction record gone but a great result for Uruguay and for the world cup in general.

I expect Japan just ruined a perfect card for everyone. So who gets out of that group and in what order? I can’t say I know that’s fo sho

It’s now the most interesting of the groups.

It gets really interesting if Scotland just beat Japan in a try fest. That would leave Ireland in a spot of bother.
