Finish work tomorrow - train from Bham New St to Reigate, Surrey.
Meet Son in pub next to the station. Beers and Food.
Stay over in his flat, just down the road.
Meet up with my Brother on the night or Sat a.m. (My Brother is a non-combatant - no rugby experience).
Watch the game in the best pub the guys down south know.
Immediately after the game - on train to Ealing to watch Trailfinders v Cov.
I have a train ticket booked back to Cov from Ealing around 7.30pm. Best set the alarm on my phone for Cov station.
Twickenham was sold out for the live screening - £30.

Watch the game at home with mum, wife and son. Bacon butties. Either end up all too happy or sad to take son to Krav maga lesson, put him on bus and wish him luck. Hope he returns by Sunday, for rugby practice, where I'll either start of happy, or enjoy myself regardless.

Watching in the safety of my home - so that if it goes badly - it's not as bad - and if it goes well - I won't care!

Re: Plans for Saturday
I will have the house to myself as the wife is taking the kids to a birthday party! So I will relax with coffee and the rugby.
Can't drink atm, as I have a 2cm hole in my back...and can't get too excited, either...which is a problem, as I'm sure I'll want to jump for joy!

Re: Plans for Saturday
I have made horrible tactical errors all around. Wife arranged to go visit friends for a couple of days on 1st November 2019, about a year ago and it was all booked and organised befire I realised the significance of the date. This leave me with a 4 year old and a 6 year old to be in charge of during the rugby. It has worked out well the past couple of weeks, as the guilt has led to my wife taking them out of the house for the morning, but now we're down to the date and I'm despairing.
I forsee my Saturday morning with one hand offering GoJetters on the iPlayer app on my phone and the other doling out biscuits, crisps, ketamine, anything - whatever is needed to keep them busy and quiet during the game.

Three families getting together for bacon butties at whichever of us has the largest telly. 12 of us huddled on two sofas, ketchup everywhere screaming our heads off.

Your son and I live in the same, fine town! If you don’t know a pub, may I recommend the Old Reigatians club to watch the game in; doing breakfast as well as showing the gamerichy678 wrote:Share if you feel its not an invasion of privacy.

Re: Plans for Saturday
Having recommended a good rugby club for Richy to watch it in, Ive decided to watch it at home with my girlfriend, who does like and know about rugby. I’ll go to my cub for a pint to celebrate if we win, followed by a nearby fireworks display

Tewkesbury RFC for breakfast, morning beer, and atmosphere. Shit projector, even shitter sound.
I won't give a damn!
Not watching this one on my own and scaring the dog every time I shout.

Up at 4 for the rugby league, collecting the toddler when she wakes up so Mrs Moore gets a bit of rest before no one sees me for the rest of the day.
Train into Leeds at 8ish.
Booth with a built in TV booked in the pub.
Breakfast, beer and a very stressful 2 hours to follow.
Drink to celebrate or drink to forget follows.
Back home in time for the UFC.
Spend Sunday on sofa an absolute mess.

Weekend in Venice and am told there is an Irish pub nearby. Maybe they’ve got the hump and won’t show the match having already been knocked out! I’ll check it out today.

Mrs 5 and I have child care responsibilities as we have our 3 year old grand daughter over tonight and well into tomorrow. I will endeavour to keep full attention on the match, while trying to point out the intricacies of play to our delightful grand daughter who may be more inclined to want to watch Paw patrol or Peppa Pig.

Re: Plans for Saturday
Same as Puja here. 5 and 3 year olds demanding attention at the same time as the most crucial rugby match in 12 years isn't a good mix. My wife's suddenly got interested in the WC during last week's 2nd half and was excited as me by the end, so she's not gonna be distracting the kids. Fingers and toes crossed hoping ipad and a jigsaw might provide some distraction for the little darlings.
Then out for a mate's 50th at night which could be a hell of a piss up if we win.

Home with the wife. Just have to remember not to leap in the air at any point having just had knee arthroscopy. Will switch on TV at about 8.45 but leave it muted till 8.59. Hate the studio build-up.

Leaving for weekend in the cairngorms but luckily the local pub is owned by an englishman and the beer is normally drinkable. (The Suie in Kincraig, to give it a plug!)

Re: Plans for Saturday
I'm off to strategically plan tomorrow morning now, with the aid of a pub, realistically we're going to a pub/club or to someone's house. I'd imagine it could take a few hours to fully resolve the complexities which might arise in discussions.
