First start for Harris for Glos.

Not sure how this game is going to go. A lot of external emotion involved and it’s still a good Sarries team. Could go either way easily.

Probably the best side Gloucester have put out all season.

Saracens will be keen to pick up the points though! They were very close to losing at home to London Irish before a late flourish.

We will miss slater for sure, assuming Danny has the kicking duties too. Our back row bench is pretty strong tho.

That Sarries team shorn of what, 7 or 8 starters would still go toe to toe with any other prem side. How do they do it?

Do Glos only have one fit lock? That aside, they look in decent shape and must be favourites.
Interesting to see how Saracens respond to the week they've had. It might bring them together.

Mostert is away with WC celebrations, Slater out for 6 weeks odd. We didn’t really replace Savage, but have a good academy prospect. Which kinda of leaves us with an issue if anything happens to Grobler.

Fair enough, good for him. Solid player but probably not going any further than where he was at Gloucester.

I hope Sarries get buried, frankly. A win on the back of the week they've had would make them unbearable

In this long advantage situation to Gloucester, it is Saracens who gain because the clock is still running.

*IF* required, Sarries could easily let a couple of higher earning players go and still be the best team in Europe.

Fair play to Saracens. After the week they've had to come out and control that game in the manner they did was very impressive. They were in charge throughout, playing with characteristic efficiency. That was a good win.
Glos were mostly terrible. They seemed flat and never really got going.

I'm opening myself up to be shot down here, but of all the grounds in the Premiership, and I've been to most, Kingsholm must surely be the closest to a football crowd. Hate is too strong a word, but the disrespect shown to the opposition is second to none. That being said, Saracens, have been found out and will have to pay the price, but their team today, shorn of most of their international players did what they had to do and go home with a well earned win.

You've clearly not been to Wuss on a cold Friday night when they've had a few, Glaws are a funny bunch for sure, their ongoing ability to see what's transpiring on the far side of the ruck whilst stood in the Shed speaks to that famed third eye, but they're a ways off the Wuss crowd with a few bevied up troops mixed in.

On today's game Glaws just lost the plot on the discipline front, and this was a game I thought Glaws couldn't lose looking at the lineups

No, I've not been to Wuss - even on a sunny Saturday afternoon, and it ain't on my list of grounds to visit!!

Talking of cold Friday nights, my local team, Toulouse, go to Kingsholm next Friday. I wonder what welcome awaits the hundred or so Toulouse supporters who'll be making the trip (no, I won't be there, but will be at the return game!)

Thought Isiekwe and Earl were really good up front, and Tompkins was all class in the backline.

Agreed. Just how good is Tompkins? On the few occasions I have seen him, he looks so special that he'd have to be close to being part of the 1st choice XV.

At 12 or 13 though? Difficult to know where Daly (who's a 13 for me) and Lozowski all play
