Exe took control after h/t and completely dominated. They were very good, with the wingers and back row prominent.
LCD really effective off the bench.

When you see the accuracy of Slade's kicking (general play and penalties), his late passing skill and the timing of his runs, England just don't get the best out of him. For example, when he is on the same pitch as Farrell and Ford why do either of them ever kick penalties to touch? I think the way Exeter use him, even though he wears the 13 shirt, makes sense in terms of play-making creativity. I'd just pick him at IC for England ahead of Farrell.

It’s so frustrating to see where we ended up with with Farrell as a centre. Neither having ever convinced at 10, I feel if half the effort of trying Farrell at 12 going to trying Slade there could have seen him become a better player by this point.Oakboy wrote:When you see the accuracy of Slade's kicking (general play and penalties), his late passing skill and the timing of his runs, England just don't get the best out of him.
