Eye-gouging bans should be measured in entire years, second offence should be a life-time ban.

Wow, that was one of the dumbest reds I've ever seen. He wasn't even near the action, or seemingly even particularly upset about it, just felt like having a poke around?

When I saw the incident I thought wtf is the tw@t up to? He must have next to feckall between his ears and should receive a ban for a minimum of 6 months.

That is some seriously cunty behaviour. They are professionals, they are at work, he should be punished so it hits his job hard. What a neanderthal.

Isn't that Ronan O'Gara's team? Has he lost the room or what? They look on a mission to cripple the world through cheap shots.

And all he gets is a 6-week ban!! Jono Gibbes, the la Rochelle manager says that his player Bougarit "didn't mean to hurt" Curry! Balls!!

The issue for me is why did the La Rochelle hooker, and there's some evidence here I've forgotten his name, only get the entry point sanction for contact with the eye area, when it would seem he could and imo should be getting the entry point sanction for intentional contact with the eye area?

I'm willing to accept that's not a gouge in the sense there wasn't, thankfully, a finger inserted into the eye socket, but that's not a reckless or accidental act, he walked over to do exactly what he did. Or as I've just been ranting to some poor soul, if that's an unintended act from him he's such a menace to society that henceforth he should be required to be placed into a Zorb ball prior to any interaction with others
