Uh oh. I’m not sure Booj is quick enough to play 13 in the Prem.

Excited for Umaga, unfortunately that's a tough team to play against.

Wasps look to be missing quite a few.
Big call starting Umaga at 10.
Exe havent changed much and have come to life over the last 2 games.

I'm sure he's not. This could get unpleasant for Wasps, but then realistically I don't think anybody expects them to get anything out of this game. It's a good challenge for Umaga to help him develop tooMellsblue wrote:Uh oh. I’m not sure Booj is quick enough to play 13 in the Prem.

His oppo isn't exactly quick, nor Dollman, If it were Slade and Hogg it'd be more worrying.Mellsblue wrote:Uh oh. I’m not sure Booj is quick enough to play 13 in the Prem.

Exeter back line is much changed, and Hill and Yeandle are missing from the pack. Both sides look under strength.fivepointer wrote:Wasps look to be missing quite a few.

True. The men outside him are speed merchants so that might help. 13 was initially where Rayer saw him but it soon became apparent it was 12, where he won Champ Player of the Season.Banquo wrote:His oppo isn't exactly quick, nor Dollman, If it were Slade and Hogg it'd be more worrying.Mellsblue wrote:Uh oh. Re: Exeter vs Wasps
Wasps have been agonisingly close to scoring tries multiple times, but just not quite finishing, very frustrating, but also encouraging. Not expecting any from sandy park, so overall positive. Umaga has looked very handy, taking the ball right to the line, putting a few players through by picking the right option at the last second.

Exe ran out very comfortable winners.
Just seen the O'Flaherty try which was quite an effort.

Yeah, we lost both our starting locks to injury around thehalf time mark. Cardall is OK, but very green, and Tom Willis is not a lock. At that point our lock and maul were done, which is an issue against Exeter.
However, even with that, Umaga was putting in some great kicks to touch (unfortunately including one restart), some great handling and some rather impressive tackles.

I think Wasps get a lot from having Ash on the field carrying. The last three weeks have all been noticeably better

Lovely try from O’Flaherty.
He’s had a great start to the season and with Cokanasiga injured and McConnochie looking very underwhelming, I wonder whether he might be putting himself in the England reckoning?

I was thinking about him as a possible England bolter too. He’s good in the air and a committed defender. But he’d probably be the smallest outside back Eddie has selected for England.Scrumhead wrote:Lovely try from O’Flaherty.

Been very impressed with O'Flaherty this season. He seems to have come on a lot and is playing with a real dash.
We're not short of wingers but his form does warrant a close look from England.
