Sale not having Faf is a big bonus for Quins but I don’t see us winning it. Sale are just a better, more motivated team. Their lineout is shonky, but I don’t know that ours is good enough to take advantage.

Lasike vs. RJVR should be a big battle in midfield.

Thank god that ridiculous penalty didn't result in a Sale try.

Fun game so far.

Yeah it is.

Ross Chisholm really is awful though. Two howlers already in less than 20mins. One costing a try.

Yup.

Did I imagine that Care took a genuine high shot as Sale won that turnover to score just then?

Surely the contact on Care was worth checking. Looked like a forearm to the face to me.

Strange having an injured, on-loan Wilson on the touchline talking as a Sale player. A team made almost entirely of other blindsides.

Quins have got progressively worse as this game has gone on. We are embarrassingly sh*t.

We really don't like Yarde do we?

Edit: Ah. I see.

This ref is crap. Ages watching replays - the Marler one required approx 200 too many replays and why worry about the post try fracas just get on with the game. He also demanded ‘use it’ on about three occasions without actually penalising them when the didn’t ‘use it’. In his favour, he clearly had a good Xmas in the food and booze department. This is only reason I won’t be writing a strongly worded letter to the RFU demanding he is sacked.

This is quite a humping. Quins look clueless and poorly coached.

We really do. Landajo is just so bad ... he makes Charlie Mulchrone look like he was a world-beater.

Terrible d. Gustard will be losing his s**t.

Quins look very poor. Gustard really not had the influence I thought he would.

Sale still not fully clicked, but they have a seriously talented squad. Got 3 World Cup finalists to add to tonight’s 23 too; Lood, Mark Wilson and Faf.

Gustard is getting found out. I liked him to begin with and thought he was going to be good but it turns out he’s a load of hot air.

I’m struggling to believe it’s just down to him and Sarries were totally wrong to rate him, but we look awful and that has to be his responsibility overall.

I did not understand why the Sale defender pulling Ibitoye's shirt was not yellow-carded just because the winger went on to score. Had Ibitoye fallen as a result of the shirt-pull it was a clear penalty try situation that automatically means a yellow card.

I agree he should have gone.

I’d probably be annoyed about the reffing if we hadn’t been so terrible ourselves.

He had no testicles at any point - there should've been a yellow for the pull on Ibitoye and two yellows for repeated and cynical infringements on the goal line by Quins. Those are the literal definitions of why yellow cards were introduced and he bottled them.

His shirt was so tight I think blood circulation was cut off and they withered and died. I have no conclusive proof of this but all evidence from me putting on my work clothes on the 2nd points to that conclusion.

Any idea what the feedback procedure on referees is in the GP? Do the head coaches get consulted?
