Just wondering if anyone knows anything about Pappatoetoe?
Apparently my nephew is going over, from Cheltenham (UK) and will be playing for them, but I can't find out much about them.
Cheers!

It's in South Auckland. Thus they're big, hit hard, and che-hoo from kickoff until final whistle.

I lived in Papatoetoe for years and went to school there. It will be an eye opener for him if he isn't used to Polynesian culture, but that's no bad thing. Club is very much linked to the community. Smashed em bro is something he should definitely get used to. You can get a horrible curry and a cheap prossie any time of day on Hunters Corner.

Don't think there's a lot Polynesians in Cheltenham, though he does know a few Fijians at his club. Hopefully, he'll get to actually play a bit (10 or 15 usually) though and not just bum around....
Will pass on letting know about the prossies!

That noise you make when you see someone gets smashed.
South Auckland is rugby league more than rugby, btw.

He'll certainly have played against more than a few when going to forces towns like Amesbury. You often get this massive Fijian who's on leave and fancies a game turning out for the 2nd XV. Had a game against one this season where he was packing on the openside flank and I picked and went from 8 and beat him off the base to make a break. Unfortunately at a later scrum, he'd moved to the blindside, I picked and went that way, but fumbled the pickup, leaving me reaching for the ball with ribcage exposed. He took a great deal of pleasure in utterly destroying me. And rightly so.
Is chee-hoo the noise Maui makes in Moana?

Well his Mum's now worried about Hunters corner if nothing else!
