Atkinson is a highly rated young FH. Looks a difficult game to make your debut in.

Luckily he made it in the loss to Sale instead :(.

Oh right you are. Hopefully better result this time though that looks a bit of a stretch.

Bit of a relief in a way. A loss will just be an "Oh well." moment. Any sort of bonus point would be huge.

This is a big game for Wasps, and they've got something to play for. Also if they take something from this it'll really help them against other sides

Thing is, almost all the remaining games are big ones. I'd rather we focused on the other 4 than this one. Quins and Bristol are basically 8-10 point swings. Tigers is an easier game to target too. Considering our run in, this was the one I was expecting to see a 2nds team for.

Win this one and Quins and Brizzle will be influenced by that win. Also if Wasps are going to step up and do something you almost might as well set them the task of stepping up and doing something, as a wise (angry) man once observed, you've got to want it.

I think that's the strongest Sarries team since the restart, and it's probably Wasps' weakest

Wasps don't need to keep players back either they've got Tigers seconds mid week.

Can't be sure it's the seconds though, and can only afford so many losses. Might as well make the loss the likely one, and the win the likely one :D.

Was always likely to be the strong team this weekend and seconds mid week because we've got Saints next weekend and we'll want a win there. A derby victory would get a lot of the fans onside.

Having said that there will be a few more experienced players I'd guess Tom Youngs, Blake Enever and Jordan Taufua will add a little steel to the pack.

Sarries even as a weaker side are a pretty ruthless outfit. Sending a weakened team there is almost suicide.

As I said, if you have to pick a game to win, and a game to lose, it's going to be more likely to lose to Sarries than Tigers, might as well try and confirm that.

Should be on BT sport somewhere, and should be available on streams.

Suspect I'm going to miss at least the first half.

That bit is easily solved - watch it on Rugby Pass - hey seem to be showing everything on a 30-40 minute delay at the moment (might be a contractual thing, but that'd be weird, as they're only licensed to show it outside of the UK)

Nice little dummy from Farrell there's even if it didn't come off.
Nice to see him eyes up and trying something

And a second time, dummy the short pass, delay a step, release the long pass

Penalty reversed (should have been Wasps anyway, Daly never released the tackled player there) for Billy V being a dick. Nice to see.

Wish we had a better scrum. Stoppage through injury ends up rewarding Saracens a penalty against the flow of play.

Just turned it on and that was a great few phases from Wasps.
