11. POIROT will be worth tuning in for. Morahan should have a jolly old time if they can get him the ball.

Looking forward to this.
Bris can be highly entertaining and Bordeaux have a very decent side.

Indeed they do! English spectators will know of the class of winger Santiago Cordero. Ex Racing prop Tameifuna, weighing in at 148 kgs (might be an exaggeration!) makes his first XV début. Wing forward Cameron Woki is only 21 and already has 2 caps for France.fivepointer wrote:Looking forward to this.

In all seriousness, how is it ok for people to come from France and not self-isolate for two weeks? If it's a matter of getting a clear test, why is this not the case for everyone?

We really can't turn this into a thread discussing the incompetencies of the government's testing and track and trace systems. Will take far to many pages.Peej wrote:In all seriousness, how is it ok for people to come from France and not self-isolate for two weeks? Not a good look for Malins’ as last line of defence ...

Impressive turn of speed from Ed Holmes. I didn’t know he was that quick.

All a little in-effective from Bris so far, hopefully the 2nd half will be better.

Tuned in towards the end of the second half. Sir really didn't want to give a penalty at the end of normal time. Two really nice tries from Bristol with Bordeaux looking tired but that second try seems to have fired them up a bit.

Dodged a bullet there, thought we lost it at 20-20! Just need Leicester to get to the final now.

I'm glad you won as being an English team, but I think it's ended any chance of us winning the competition. If Bordeaux had got through, there's a chance they'd be riddled with COVID. Now, even if we beat Toulon, the final's as far as we can go.jimKRFC wrote:Dodged a bullet there, thought we lost it at 20-20! Just need Leicester to get to the final now.

Can anyone explain how BB got their hooker replaced? It was clearly not a HIA, so shouldn't they have gone down to 13? I thought the commentators said the 2 had to have an HIA but that was 5 mins before he went off...

I'm watching on delay but Christ it's hard going. Radradra and Luatua are the only Bris players who seem to understand the value of fixing your man. Given that the objective is to tire them out it's a bit of a problem when they can just quietly drift. That Radradra yellow was a total joke btw.

Radradra's great to watch but his ability to execute basic stuff without even thinking about it is a joy, and ensured the win. Some players were anonymous tonight.

Went really well for Bristol at Welford Road this season didn't it... Though that was before they brought some fairly awesome players to bolster the squad. Bristol's tight five can still be targeted and it you can dominate that area and take away ball from the unquestionable talent outside you have a chance. I'm not sure Tigers can play coherently enough for 80 minutes to do that though.Puja wrote:I'm glad you won as being an English team, but I think it's ended any chance of us winning the competition. I wonder what Jones thought of Earl's performance. Sinckler is in anyway so, presumably, Earl was Jones's main reason for being there.
