So, Ireland just having fun dominating the breakdowns and scoring its on.
Italy showing more invention than they have for a while. Just not much good if the opposition can take the vall at will.

Jesus, if Italy would just work off the ball their attack would be so much more dangerous.

Looking knackered, that's probably part of it.

Hahahaha. Ireland drop-kick the conversion on 79.50 so that the game can restart, with the idea of going the length to get another try to bulk out their points difference, only for Italy to regather the ball and score a try of their own. That'll teach them to be cocky.

Glad for the 10, him and Canna ain't the worst pairing.

Good performances by both new caps for Ireland. Connors - an abrasive flanker (MOTM) and Keenan, a smart, nippy wing.

Stockdale looks an accident waiting to happen
Healy Murray and Sexton need to be retired
Ringrose our best player gets a fracture
Great to see Ireland play a real openside and doris is decent
Won't beat France with 4 passengers

The contrast between Irish half backs and their French counterparts is pretty stark

Why is Van de Flier not considered a real openside ? - looks more authentic than some recent English ones e.g. Robshaw, Haskell and most recent Wilson

Vdf is an athlete but can't really play rugby, he never turns the ball over, no skills never challenges, terrified of giving away a penalty. O'connor who started today v Italy is a better player
