Looks like a good team on our side. Pretty much full strength to choose from apart from TYoungs.
It's a piss poor draw for Tigers. Finish top of our group and get to be alone with three French clubs while everyone else is playing Premiership games. Just hoping Racing beat Toulon so that the semi is in Nottingham; I don't know I fancy our chances if we have to go to France.

I think the tmo was saying his foot was down in touch when he collected the ball, and Owens was right in saying it was in the air. In real time it did actually look that it was a lineout to Stade, and I thought it'd be ruled out, but Owens had it correct.Mellsblue wrote:and wrong on a very simple and fundamental law.....Banquo wrote:owens is really good- TMO actually was wrong and he just over-ruled him

I heard the TMO say his foot was out, assumed it was obvious it wasn't grounded, and he was therefore wholly wrong. In hindsight he might have thought the foot was grounded........he either needs to re-read the laws or check his prescription from the optician.Banquo wrote:I think the tmo was saying his foot was down in touch when he collected the ball, and Owens was right in saying it was in the air. Yes, by saying the foot was out to me implied he thought grounded, as it can't be out of play unless grounded. Who knows what goes through TMO's minds tho.Mellsblue wrote:I heard the TMO say his foot was out, assumed it was obvious it wasn't grounded, and he was therefore wholly wrong. if steyn's goal kicking has gone to crap again, then what's the point of him?
Tigers scrum and tackling is hurting them, as Stade are a bit all over the place elsewhere

That's my point. It was so clearly in the air I just assumed he didn't know the law.Banquo wrote:Yes, by saying the foot was out to me implied he thought grounded, as it can't be out of play unless grounded. Meanwhile, Burns has snaffled a good intercept.......Steyn's genius knows no bounds.
