Good to see Cokanasiga getting a start. What's been up with his slow return? Just the injury or has his form been iffy?

Both. His form was dreadful in the first comeback of the season.

I'm guessing that he's also beena tad distracted with family matters: https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/202 ... tion-rules

Of course not - it was only the Gukas getting any press; and those allowances were made extremely reluctantly, and without Priti Patel being involved.
This is particularly distressing as he can't be at his wife's side for cancer treatment - which I have a slight inkling might be even more important than watching his son play a RWC pool-stage match.

I had blithely assumed that, because he'd got press and his son was an England international, that it would've been sorted already, under the government's Rashford rule of suddenly acquiring temporary ethics when bad press has come up. Apparently not enough press, poor sod.

Probably explains why PCokanasiga's been missing for Irish the past few months too.

Agree. Treated like this after 14 years of service and three tours is a disgrace.
