We really are bereft of players to injury and call ups. One eye on La Rochelle in a couple of weeks too, following Exeter I should imagine - no desire for further injuries right now. I don't recognise half our bench. suspect a drubbing coming. Think (Adkins aside), that is all EQP also.

Lots of young EQ players turning out for Glos but the side does have a bit of just who is available look about it.

Might be a tough afternoon against an in form Quins.

15 of the 23 actually 'home grown' rather than just EQP i've found out. Ethan Hunt come through Longlevens same as George Barton. They have nothing to lose.

A bit of a beasting.

I’m pleasantly surprised by Northmore. Looks a decent player.

We’re definitely looking mustard since we ditched Gustard.

Good time to get a lot of youngsters experience in the Premiership and build them up. How's the recruitment going for next season? You look short in several positions but I presume there's cap space to spend.

Summer tourist? Similar player to O'Conor. Good balanced runner with excellent hands and a decent turn of pace.

Not sure he’s quite there (yet?) but another very good signing from university rugby. He obviously had a very good understanding of the game as he’s seriously improved with some senior coaching.

He’ll never be a regular for Quins, though. He provides great backup for Esterhuizen and Marchant, as he can cover both positions.

Aside from Hastings coming in at 10, most of our recruitment has been done. There should be another one or two front row players to come, but we are nearly up to the cap as far as I am aware. Centre needs a bit of strengthening too I think, Trinder off, 36 and Atkinson now sadly starting to show signs of slowing down. Got our ne Georgian guy who's exciting and Chris Harris plus Seabrook who I think went well on Saturday, but need another one there too.

Really? Got to say I was expecting Skivs to be looking at making that Gloucester pack a bit more nasty and streetwise. Skill levels seem good there but they aren't going to but the fear into many sides.

Think he has done to an extent, we have improved in the set piece area for sure, but I reckon we are well stocked at all positions aside from 1, 2 & 3 once all injured players are back.

I think I'd still take Marchant and POC over him. I mean, it would be nice for Odogwu to maybe get a game too, but you can almost guarantee that he won't be in the squad.

I don't think there's any "think" about it. BUT, Northmore can play 12 and maybe that pushes him up the pecking order somewhat...

But I'm pleasantly surprised by his progress as our 2nd choice centre, not as a potential international.

The fact he's even been mentioned as a potential tourist says a lot about the quality of centre available to England...

Is he Welsh qualified? He could end up playing for them, I feel.

I think he was only at Cardiff Met in regards to Welsh qualification. He's from the south coast originally but don't know anything about parentage. Wales actually have some good options at centre in Watkin, Tompkins and Williams. All early to mid twenties all with caps and game time including multiple starts. England are probably in a worse place with Joseph and Farrell 30, Manu a sick note. Slade is late twenties with Marchant and Lawrence barely given any real minutes.
