Hopefully our first team is ready to fire after a couple of weeks off!

Deliberately fielding a second string side to effectively forfeit the Challenge Cup will only have been worth it if we can pick up a big win today (and ideally next week).

Given that Worcester appear to have clocked off from this season already, I think you should be all right. I'm expecting 60 points plus, although this being Quins the next most likely result is a comfortable Worcester win.

I'd just like to take a moment to note the rhyming couplet of Hearle and Searle. I want to see more of that kind of selection from Wuss if they've given up on rugby for the season. Surely there must be a forward with a surname of Sill or a Catley to match their Batley.

Who is on co commentary for this one? A current quins player.

It’s Aaron Morris. BT are using injured players as do-commentators on all the red button games ATM.

I’ve just noticed Billy Searle looks a lot like the singer from The Pet Shop Boys.

Cheers. I only watched the first half but it was entertaining. I see quins must have smashed them in the second.

Have coaches like Thomas and Skivington gotten promoted too soon?

Got to give them time.
Worcester seem to be a particularly tough nut to crack. They've never done much in the Prem, always seeming to be relegation candidates. Turning that around isnt going to be a quick fix, though the way they've lost their last 2 games is a worrying sign of the players giving up.
They've got a chance to find their feet, assuming there's no relegation in the next few seasons. Thomas might be the man to improve their standing. The squad is not without talent and they are producing good young players.

Well now they have to give them time.

But I do think both of them got moved up too soon. 4 years imo is not really enough.

I think Worcester have deliberately chosen to take a development pathway, so are opting for some short-term pain

Quins will be doing the same I think ...

I suspect there are a lot of as yet unannounced departures and considerably less incoming.

We’ve got some real talent coming through in the academy and I’d imagine that Baxter, Head and Kenningham will be promoted to the senior squad next season with a few more not far behind. I think we’ll see more of the guys who were out on dual registrations like Head, Musk, Jurevicius and Anyanwu.

Hayden Hyde has also returned from Ulster and is training with us again, so I think he may get a senior deal too.
