Can't really see anything other than a Saints win - 36 at 10 never goes that well. Down to our last legs in positions 11-15 and an academy prop on the bench.

Shame Sleightholme is injured, would have liked to see a foot race between him and LRZ

Re: Saints V Glos 2pm Sat
I am biased when it comes to LRZ, but i've not seen anyone in the prem who is faster. It is difficult to judge on TV only mind....
I wouldn't be worried as a Saints fan tho - with 36 at 10 the probability of a flowing backs move where the ball reaches LRZ is low.

He is lightning, but Sleightholme is deceptively quick. One of those whose legs don't look to be moving all that fast, but he eats up the pitch. I think it'd be quite close.

I suspect LRZ takes it, what I like about Sleightholme is his determination in contact, he really powers through. Reminds me of Brown I guess.Adam_P wrote:He is lightning, but Sleightholme is deceptively quick. One of those whose legs don't look to be moving all that fast, but he eats up the pitch. He's a very smart player too, and quick, tho not LRZ quick I'd think.Raggs wrote:I suspect LRZ takes it, what I like about Sleightholme is his determination in contact, he really powers through. Yeah, I can definitely see the Brown comparison. Probably helps that they look vaguely alike too.Raggs wrote:I suspect LRZ takes it, what I like about Sleightholme is his determination in contact, he really powers through. My only concern with Sleightholme is that he does seem to be injury prone.

Collision with 36, failed HIA.
Nothing offered from saints really, Glos should be further ahead, Saints can’t be as bad in the next 40, so I’m concerned we are only 10 up.

Pretty poor quality overall it has to be said. Very stop-start, cheap penalties and a lack of composure when they do have the ball. Northamptons ball presentation is truly rubbish, no wonder they can't unleash the backs

I'm definitely on board the LRZ hype train now. You could be forgiven for thinking he's 1 dimensional but he really reads space and support so well. Appears to have a pretty solid all round game though anyway? Just the pace alone is so absurd but if he continues developing the strength to shake off tacklers he's going to be unstoppable.

How on earth is this the same Saints team that has played so well the last few rounds. This is total dross. Clueless. You'd never be able to tell that top 4 rests on this game.

Didn't realise Tom Wood was still playing at 53. Still a great head of hair.

This doesn't even look like the same Saints team that played Tigers a couple of weeks ago. Ok the poor discipline is still the same but they look limp and rudderless. I've only seen the second half but it sounds like the first half was the soon.
Furbank, how did he ever get capped?

Not sure how Proctor got away with the cheeky dig to the face of LRZ that started the right. Surely he should have had the yellow.

Re: Saints V Glos 2pm Sat
No one should have got a yellow from that, literally nothing happened apart from 5 mins of wasted time watch replays of a group hug. Tempest loves to stop a game going doesn't he
