Surprised that Quins aren't using Dombrandt.

Good hard game with two teams wanting to attack ball in hand.

Poor Tommy Allan and Adam Coleman both have no luck do they. Neither make it to half time.

Irish deserved that. They worked really hard in defence and competed strongly throughout. They've got so much attacking threat that if they can defend better they will test anyone.
Enjoyable tussle between the two young 7's.

They were a couple of passes away from a big win- Parton and Hassell Collins were a bit butchery.

I was also impressed with Pearson

Pearson has looked good in all his games so far. 0 hype, but seems to be a very handy player.

Yeah, thought he looked good in the cup, but hard to tell because of the opposition. This match though was full bore and he looked very impressive - very solid tackling technique.

Bit of a let off to get the LBP. I never thought we'd be in a position for the trademark comeback given who we rested, coupled with Allen and Northmore going off, but I dared to hope for a moment or two until we insisted on playing 10 phases 10m inside our own half 7ish minutes from the end

First saw him against Exeter which may even have been his debut? He was very good then too.

Quins have got it in the locker to overplay in their own 22. I think it's the weakness you get from having Care run the game management. Saw it last season against Tigers when they ended a phase of having two men extra by conceding 3 points and against Sale this season where they put a lot of unnecessary pressure on themselves.

I do think they paid the price for resting their internationals that started the Bok game but that might be of more benefit in the long run and there's another big game for Quins next week. To much to hope they'll rest Smith for that.
