We don't seem to have a thread for these anymore so here goes.
Has anyone seen The Man in the High Castle and is it good?

Saw first one and enjoyed it, but didn't follow it up.
Narcos is very, very good. The Night Manager is up there with anything HBO have put out. BBC at its very best.

Oh and Peaky Blinders is set to return in May. Well worth catching first two series if you've missed them. Good stuff.

Man in the High Castle starts well, drifts a bit then nose dives. They may pick it up before the end.

If you can decipher what they are saying. Awful awful accents.

Game of Thrones.
Plodding for the last two series now, but can still pull out the odd surprise.

I would also recommend :
Marco Polo, even with the cringeworthy kung fu
Orange is the New Black, although declining
Really enjoyed Peaky blinders and Narcos.
Anyone wanting to talk about that GOT episode? Wtf is happening in Dorne?

Man in the High Castle - Starts off promising, then doesn't know what to do with itself; so decides to do nothing much.
Game of Thrones - Gave up after S4; from what I've heard about S5, that was absolutely the right decision.
Peaky Blinders - Very good, especially the second series; when does S3 start? ETA: May, good to know
Night Manager - Seems to have had some difficulties bringing it up to date; plot holes abound; but the acting and direction is absolutely top notch - So glad they've resisted temptation to make a 2nd series though.
Last Kingdom - One of the best book-screen adaptations IMO (along with GoT S1), though some of the budget restraints shine through - hopefully S2 will have an increased budget to cope.
Raised by Wolves - Guilty pleasure to watch in bed with the brain turned off.
Looking forward to:
American Gods - Fantastic cast being signed up; and Gaimon on board as a producer.
Peaky Blinders S3 - Probably record and binge-watch though.
Black Mirror S3 - Moving to Netflix; and it looks like they're going all American on us, and trying to get 12 episodes where 3 is sufficient. Expect even more under-exploring of the ideas.

Enjoyed Last Kingdom, but the main protagonist's weird tight legged hipster costume almost put me off.
Thing with GoT is that it only falls below its own standards. Its worst episode is still better than most television.

Undercover has been excellent.
The Last Panthers was really good and still available on Sky download.
The third season of Line of Duty was outstanding, again. There aren't many tv series so tense that I can't bear to watch 2 episodes back to back. Adrenalin overload.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Making a Murderer.
Compelling viewing.

Agree in the most part. Thought the ending was a bit OTT though.

Surprisingly big finish which i didn't mind given what had gone before. Was almost a release.

I get fed up with these "tense" "thought provoking" shows. Its a rare TV show that starts out well but doesn't disappear up its own arse pretty quickly... House Of Cards, GoT, etc etc. Seems like producers get more out of flogging a dead horse than trying something new.
Modern Family still the best show on TV, although the first few seasons were better than the current one.

Line of Duty was great,. But that ending....oh dear. The final 15 minutes rather let down what had gone before.
Peaky Blinders back, picking up where it had left off.

...and a rare chance to like a Nick Cave song. I thought "oh here we go again, same old same old". It's stylishly done though as always.

There's something about a song about a Red Right Hand which just appeals...

Is Peaky Blinders all that good, I thought it may have been a watered down version of Boardwalk Empire as it is set at roughly the same time.

It's a completely different, and to my mind vastly superior, story.
