How's Murray McCallum getting on? Edinburgh fans were really excited about him, but it was five years ago and he was playing tighthead. Still like to think that there's potential there and that appears to be two starts in a row ahead of Waller.

Is it just me or is that a huge quin's pack, with another two locks on the bench and two massive props on the bench.

Been critical of Jones before but that's one hell of a try saving tackle

If you’re deemed to have been short of the line going for a try it doesn’t seem at all fair that the defending team get a drop out. Need to amend that law.

Don't particularly mind it myself but understand the reasoning to change it.

Wouldn't be surprised to see murley include in some sort of England squad one day soon. Not necessarily saying a 6N squad, but I think he's class. Fits a mould I think Jones likes too.

Yeah I think he’s underrated. A better player than Lynagh, brings some quite similar things to Nowell too but is actually fast.

The whole drop out from your own line stuff needs a re- think.

I really like the the type where grounding a kick in goal is now a goal-line drop-out rather than a 22 (the bit which Nigel Owens rails against twice a game on commentary). Under the old rules, most attacking grubbers were a poor option, as the minute they rolled into goal, the opposition got to advance 22m and then kick long so you were often back in your own half. Now, the goal-line drop-out means that even a slightly overcooked grubber kick gives you a chance for another attack and the increased success of that ploy means that defence have to keep more people back covering, creating more space for the attack.

The held up over the line one, I can take or leave, but there has been a marked reduction in the amount of grinding around the corner this season, so it appears to be doing its job.

Is he that fast, though? I mean, the Quins back line isn’t quick, so maybe he just looks quick in comparison.

I like Murley. He's quick enough i'd say. Quins will miss Tizard, who is developing into a really good grafting lock.

Wuss had their moments and are improving. Nice try at the end for young Atkinson who didnt look remotely out of place.
