Marler starts, which is interesting. Can't see past a home victory here.

Yeah bar Smith, Marchant (And if Jones is back on form then happy days) and Dombrandt that's more or less a first XV, with a solid bench front row and Northmore. Still, if Falcons let us lead at HT who knows

Ish … even if we discount the England players, we’re still missing Evans, Kenningham and James Chisholm.

Evans is back in training now, so I’m hoping he and Chisholm will be back for the run-in.

Newcastle are a dogged side, but we have a tough run-in which makes this a must-win in it’s own way.

Wow that Falcons bench is kids or average isn't it. Quins should be able to murder Falcons in the second half as Falcons tire.

First half should be a tough arm wrestle.

Yeah, fair, but Lawday and Lewies are pretty solid, if unspectacular. White getting more gametime is a definite plus to me, he's never going to trouble an international side but could be a good nuts and bolts squad player if he finds his stride (yes I know he's 24)

Good to see Newcastle sticking with their young half backs and bringing in some younger forwards. Now is a good time to try and bring on some new talent.
They face a difficult night.

Lawday has great hands - under-rated player, IMO. Some good wingers on show. I do like Murley.

The Newcastle error count in Quins 22 was painful to watch even as a neutral. That game should have been a lot closer.

:o what is this continuous loop of agreeing with you?!

Not a winger, but I thought McGuigan was stand out too.

McGuigan has been consistently good every time i see him. A regular in my fantasy team. Not sure why he doesn't get more talk about him really.

I've said it lots but more and more murley looking like the real deal.

I also think radwan looks good. I always think the choices you make whether it be selection or on the pitch or whatever should look at what the opposition don't want you to do. Radwan was the constant threat today as a Quinns fan. When it was 19-10 for so long all I could think was it would take one step from him and it's essentially a tied game. That's the sort of threat I like to have on my team.

Newcastle soft in defence for the first half Quins tries and wasteful with the positions they created. They've got some good players - i like the look of Haydon-Wood, Radwan is a tremendous prospect, McGuigan and Robinson are quality Prem players and Basham looks to have a bit about him - but the collective effort just isnt there.
Quins won without being anywhere near their best. Murley is an under rated player.

Just catching up on this one - Esterhuizen is unbelievably good isn't he. Why isn't he English?!
