Lewis Boyce, there's someone that has really plateaued or even regressed. Bit like Auterac.
Is this Venter's first game? He's the freakish Saffa who had that horrific accident as a child, right?

Good spot - I'd thought there was nothing of any interest in this game.Peej wrote:Is this Venter's first game? He's the freakish Saffa who had that horrific accident as a child, right?

To be fair, Boyce had just come back from a fair while out with injury. He’s unlikely to progress to a test level player, but he’s a good Premiership player and quite a bit better than Auterac IMO.Peej wrote:Lewis Boyce, there's someone that has really plateaued or even regressed. Bit like Auterac.

Kept reading this as people's Republic of China Bristol and was trying to decode it as being based on something pat lam has said or something.

Harsh on Boyce - he's been pretty good when available.Peej wrote:Lewis Boyce, there's someone that has really plateaued or even regressed. Bit like Auterac.

Never going to be in international contention, but a perfectly good club player.
Yep, that's him; also a first start for Mackenzie Graham, who looks like he might be the real deal.
Bailey's first go with the armband, which seems... odd. Not sure I see him as captaincy material, and I don't like my play-by-play decision maker and primary kicker to be the skipper, tend to take too much on themselves, and shrink their vision.
Dingley's first start as well, and Worboy's first bench appearance.
And with all that, I still can't be arsed to watch. Might catch up on PRTV if bored at some point next week (assuming the Pointless Ruddy Cup ends up there at all.

Name like that, if he's any good, he'll be in the Scotland squad for their summer tour.Which Tyler wrote:Yep, that's him; also a first start for Mackenzie Graham, who looks like he might be the real deal.

Re: PRC Bristol vs Bath
61-19 to Bristol, Bath very fortunate to get that as their 2nd try looked very much a foot in touch from where I was (front row on the 5m line). 6, 11 and 22 looked good for Bath but no-one else really did much. Very disappointed 11 went off as he was looking the only one up for it from Bath.
Bristol looked in control for most of the game, POC looked a class apart and the all the youngsters came in did well. Towson looked good and smashed Bath 22 when he'd made a break, Duncan also looked good. Stand out moment was Eden's dummy chip that had my mate (Bath fan) laughing at the cheek!

Didn't have much to do defensively but looked good going forward. Certainly didn't look out of place but hard to tell as it was pretty one sided.Mellsblue wrote:How did Rich Lane go?

Rich Lane’s on fire, your defence is terrified.
