Surely the best measure of the BBC's balance is that they get accused of bias by both The left and the right.

What left? The BBC's 'balance' is between the extreme right and the ultra extreme right. Cheer leaders for war and more war.
They've ben caught numerous times of late blatantly manufacturing pro-war propaganda.
It's a disgrace.

They get accused of being right wing by the left because they are and a study by Cardiff Uni demonstrated it.
They get accused of being left wing by the right because it has good propaganda value.
The head of BBC news is a mate of Osborne's
The previous political editor was a card carrying Conservative
The current political editor is even more right wing than him
The BBC Trust membership reads like the Conservative Party donor list, including the Chairman of BAE, the former CEO of the FT, the Master of St Peter's Oxford, the CEO of Maizels, Westerberg and co, a senior civil servant, a senior City Executive, a former diplomat, the former head of S4C, and the managing director of the British Museum.
Scarcely a cabal of Trotskyists.
By convention, there used to be a Trade Unionist on the board, but Thatcher stopped that when she appointed Marmaduke Hussey, with the specific remit of shifting the BBC to the right.
There's not one "ordinary" person. No viewer representatives, no teachers, doctors, social workers, bus drivers, nurses, factory workers, artists, soldiers or firemen. There are lots of business people. There are more bankers than journalists, more academics than cameramen, more diplomats than copywriters, artists, or script writers, more civil servants than sports people. They represent the establishment in all its glory.

Look what's trending in the last 24 hours on twitter - #toryelectionfraud
Not a dicky bird about it on the BBC though.

Kuenssburg? She was the one who arranged for Stephen Doughty to resign live on air to destabilise Corbyn... so yes, not exactly left wing.

She's quite disgusting.
The whole BBC factual content is a joke. Even the sports news is a shambles, with the best talent continuously leaving to be replaced by inane nonsense. Nowadays I don't even visit the BBC website because of the terrible quality of the writing. The Guardian is much better, but the new Editor is another Tory...

No mention that the MP in question is a Tory. Seems odd to leave that out... bias?

The wonderful but now meaningless words of Abe Lincoln in his Gettysburg Address... "Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the Earth."
Now to be, Government of the people, by the media, for the shareholders, shall not perish from the earth.
"The broadcaster has agreed to remove 11,000 recipes from its website as part of savings intended to stop it competing with newspapers"

They were left wing recipes. Cake recipes will remain

Their collection of recipes is actually pretty good. A bit of pruning probably wouldn't hurt, 11000 is a bit excessive, it it's a shame to lose all of them.

The cost to host all those recipes, though, is negligible for an organisation the size of the BBC. So why not. It's a public service and some people may like all of those recipes. So why not keep them all. Answer: it's all pressure towards the govt., and they never intended to.
