I quite like the look of the Wasps side, though Hislop isn't our best loosehead. However, I don't think it makes much difference, since Saints aren't going to let us build up a 30 point lead, and then will probably still hit us hard in the 2nd half too.

I remain unconvinced by Wasps this season. I'm not sure the coaches are getting the best out of the players at the minute, and with everything else going on I'm not too hopeful of getting the win.

Koch is out due to illness, Tom Willis is out due to appendicitis.

My sympathies, I hope that one goes smooth for him. Going to be a few weeks out for him.
Koch not being there is a blow, a world class tighthead would have made all the difference for Wasps in that one given the fragile Saints scrum.

So now digging even further into our backrow stocks.
Going to have a word with Mr Leal for claiming that earlier obstruction wasn't a problem.

Saints concentration and discipline is dreadful. Willis brilliant at the breakdown. Sloppy old half.

Dowson should be going bonkers- no looking after the ball, really careless pens, no kick chase worth having, ad players meandering aimlessly around in front of the ball. Dysfunctional.

What's the thoughts in Atkinson as an international prospect? I really like him as a player - seems to have all the skills but more than anything seems to have time on the ball and a bit of vision. He's not got Smiths explosiveness but could be a nice change of plan option for the bench, maybe post world cup?

He's comfortably good on the ball, as you say, not a Smith, but still very good. Solid under the high ball and good in defence too. I sort of hoped we'd move him to 12, but with our options now it's not needed.
Can't even finish a post between tries. Bugger.

Should be going off to have a proper HIA. The whole point of the HIA process is that it's not possible to tell on the side of the p... and as I type that, he's being led off to be checked. Will put the broken record away.

Looks like we've found a lock that's even worse than Launchbury at restarts.
