Sounds like a good game and a lot closer than most would have expected. Lawrence made 236 meters carrying today. Think its fair to say he's made quite an impression.

Good to see Bath quintuple down on their ‘we’ll make a massive second half comeback’ plan.

For the 4th time this season, Lawrence *needs* to be in that England squad. He’s a special talent.

Will Stuart done his ACL apparently. Will be touch & go if he can come back in time to play in the world cup.

Yeah - that is really bad news for him and for England TBH. I thought he was very good in Australia.

Seems to have really turned a corner this season, great signing for Bath. 254 metres and beat 11 defenders from 13, ridiculous stats against Sarries especially.

Hadn't realized that Lawrence was that fast (and powerful). Pitch him straight into the England midfield!

Cue a run out on the wing in the AIs then…

Early days, but Lawrence has started the season really well. Hopefully that performance is a sign of things to come. If he keeps doing that, he’s surely got to be putting himself back in contention?

This is where the book thing gives Eddie an easy get out of jail card. If he picks Lawrence, he’ll simply say that his criticism had the desired effect. We’ll never know how much that has actually fired Lawrence up, but Eddie can smugly claim the credit.

Unless of course he still thinks Porter is a good choice.

Porter has missed a couple of weeks after failing a HIA, nothing been said so currently he looks unlikely to be an option. I still think Porter's selection was mainly down to Eddie liking the idea of a physical utility option in the squad rather than necessarily having him as a starter.

Porter needs a trigger warning when quoted :)
