Having a son living in Manchester have seen more of Sale this year than previously and have been really impressed by him. I would think Danny Cipriani has been paying him a percentage of his wage as he has really helped DC string some good performances together.
Interesting option by them to get Phillips as 'm not sure how his game matches the way they are trying to play!
